Highfill is about 20 miles from our Springdale shop, half an hour up Interstate 49 and out west on Highway 264 and Highway 12. If you tell someone you live in Highfill you probably still write Bentonville or Gentry on your post, because the town has had no post office since 1943. It is also growing faster than anywhere else in the state. The 2020 Census counted 1,587 people and the Census Bureau put it at 3,676 by 2025, and in the year to July 2025 it added the largest percentage of any city in Arkansas. Grading, Walls and Drainage
Open ground with a slope on it moves water fast, and on a new lot there is nothing planted to slow it down. We set the grade so water leaves the house, then use retaining walls to make a sloping lot usable, and drainage to carry the rest away without cutting a channel through your new lawn. Doing this before the planting costs less than fixing it afterwards, and it is the part of a big lot nobody sees and everybody feels.
